Quick Apple Galette Recipe
This is a quick weeknight dessert. Almost a healthy one, I would say. But must add some vanilla ice cream!!I usually prefer granny smith apples, but I haven’t had them this time. And also, you can peel the skin, of course.

- 250 grams of whole wheat flour 8.82 oz
- 120 grams of butter 4.23 oz
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp of brown sugar
- 2 tbsp of water
- a pinch of salt
- 4 apples
- a handful hazelnuts or other nuts
- honey for drizzling
Make the dough and leave it in the fridge for an hour.
Peel (or don’t) 4 apples and finely slice them. Add a little bit of brown sugar to it and some cinnamon as well.
Chop a handfull of hazelnuts or any nuts. Doesn’t really matter.
Roll the dough. Put the nuts on it (leave the dough edges clean to be able to fold them over).
Arrange the apples over the hazelnuts. Drizzle with some honey. Fold over the dough edges.
Bake the galette at 180 deg C gor about 40 minutes or until golden and crusty.
