Sesame-Seared Salmon with Pak Choi and Vermicelli Rice Noodles

I love eating salmon. It's such a versatile fish that can be made in so many ways. Today I am bringing you one of my favorite versions, covered in sesame seeds. sesame seeds give such a lovely nutty aroma after frying. Together with some greens, lovely light noodles and a light sauce, it makes a perfect meal.

Ingredients
  

  • For the sauce:
  • 5 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame or olive oil
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp brown sugar
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • A little bit of fresh ginger
  • Additionally:
  • vermicelli rice noodles
  • 2 pak choi cabbages
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions
 

  • Start off by preparing the sauce. Mince garlic and ginger and mix with all the other ingredients.
  • Prepare the noodles according to the package instructions.
  • Wash pak choi cabbage and quarter it. Cook it in boiling water for a few minutes until it softens up.
  • Season the salmon with salt and pepper and cover it with sesame seeds. Prepare it in a pan with a little bit of oil. Sesame will give it a lovely nutty flavor.
  • Serve it all together and drizzle with prepared sauce.
