Sesame-Seared Salmon with Pak Choi and Vermicelli Rice Noodles

I love eating salmon. It’s such a versatile fish that can be made in so many ways. Today I am bringing you one of my favorite versions, covered in sesame seeds. sesame seeds give such a lovely nutty aroma after frying. Together with some greens, lovely light noodles and a light sauce, it makes a perfect meal.

For the sauce you will need:
5 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp sesame or olive oil
1 tsp honey
1/2 tsp brown sugar
2 garlic cloves
A little bit of fresh ginger

Additional ingredients that you need are:
vermicelli rice noodles
2 pak choi cabbages
4 salmon fillets
Sesame seeds

Start off by preparing the sauce. Mince garlic and ginger and mix with all the other ingredients.

Prepare the noodles according to the package instructions.

Wash pak choi cabbage and quarter it. Cook it in boiling water for a few minutes until it softens up.

Season the salmon with salt and pepper and cover it with sesame seeds. Prepare it in a pan with a little bit of oil. Sesame will give it a lovely nutty flavor.

Serve it all together and drizzle with prepared sauce.
