Quick Prawn and Peas Pasta Recipe

This is one of the quickest recipes for a delicious lunch or dinner. You only need a couple of ingredients that will provide you with a feast in under only 30 minutes.

  • 1 shallot
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 cups prawns
  • 1 tbsp creme fraiche
  • 300 g pasta spaghetti 10.58 oz
  • grated Parmesan cheese
  • chopped fresh parsley


  • Cook spaghetti according to the package instructions.
  • Warm up some olive oil in a pan together with finely chopped shallot and 2-3 cloves of garlic.
  • Add some frozen peas and let it cook for a couple of minutes.
  • Scoop it all up to one side of the pan and let prawns quickly sear and cook on the other side. They will take literally a couple of minutes.
  • Season to taste.
  • Add previously cooked pasta and a tablespoon of creme fraiche. A bit of pasta water, for sure.
  • Combine everything, add some fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese. Serve!
